Farm to School Learning
30-40 minute lessons delivered at your school

Plant Parts We Eat-Life cycle of fruits & veggies from seed to plate (Spring)
Wiggly Worms, Food Friends-Learn about worms from body parts to their role in creating healthy soil to grow healthy foods. Observe live worm at work in their environment.
Kitchen Scrap Gardening-NEW
Plants are living organisms. Identify plant parts and function, explore food cycle elements from planting to waste.
Plant Parts We Eat-what's in your salad? Identify plant parts we eat and the function each plays in the plant growth and development.
Name That Crop-Explore our local food system, Ventura County Top 10 crops, and careers in agriculture.
Incredible Journey-Be a drop of water and travel through the water cycle.
Requires outdoor space to conduct lesson.
Please provide a space (classroom, library, garden, etc.) where speakers can set up and deliver lesson(s).
Suggested lesson times:
30 minute lessons: 9:30 a.m., 10:05 a.m., 10:40 a.m., 11:15 a.m.
40 minute lessons: 9:15 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 10:45 a.m.
May enroll two classes per time slot
