The Ag Futures Alliance Ventura County (AFA) is a collaboration of farmers, environmentalists, farm worker advocates, and civic leaders working to sustain agriculture in Ventura County.
Sustaining agriculture in Ventura County is important for all of us. Sustaining Ventura County farms will provide:
- a safe and secure local food supply
- a stronger local economy
- shorter food miles, resulting in a smaller global footprint
- rich local culture and communities rooted in the land
- a wide variety of nutritious, delicious, fresh foods on your fork
We can all do our part to support our local farmers by asking for and buying locally grown products!
